[It's dinnertime, I am brandishing my one lone leek and moaning about my general lack of vegetables]

Me: What can I do with a leek?
D: You could feed it to a rabbit. (D doesn't like vegetables)
Me: Hey! Leeks are nice!
D: Yeah. For a rabbit.
Me: (gives up) Well, I'm not going to feed a rabbit.
D: Mm. You could feed a cow.
Me: Haha. First, I'd have to find a cow.
D: Oh, so you already have a rabbit?
Me: ........
